Before founding Texas Massage Academy, Kathleen was trained as an elementary school teacher at The University of Texas at Austin, where she began teaching in 2000. That foundation in education shaped her approach to massage therapy instruction — organized, compassionate, and always focused on the success of each individual student.
Kathleen believes that learning should be flexible but filled with heart. With a dedicated phone line just for students and availability nearly 24/7 (when she’s awake, of course 😉), she goes above and beyond to provide feedback, grade assignments, and answer questions in real time.
Even after students graduate, Kathleen continues to be a trusted resource — receiving weekly messages from alumni seeking advice. She also shares her insights with a broader audience through her popular TikTok account, answering questions from massage students and therapists around the world.

Brittney’s journey into massage therapy is a story of passion, faith, and perfect timing. Born and raised right here in Brown County, Brittney first joined Texas Massage Academy working at the front desk — but it didn’t take long before she fell head-over-heels for the world of massage.
Inspired by the clients and the healing environment around her, she set her sights on becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist. Once licensed, Brittney dove headfirst into practice, helping clients feel better, move better, and live better every day.
But massage therapy was only part of her dream — Brittney always knew she wanted to teach and inspire future therapists, just like the instructors who had helped shape her journey. Now, as a Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor, she brings that same energy and encouragement to every student she meets.

“God’s timing, and the people He placed in my path, gave me the opportunity to do what I love every single day.”
When she’s not mentoring students or helping clients, Brittney enjoys spending time with her husband and three wonderful children — Easton, Emma, and Allyssa. You’ll often find her at her kids’ sports events, binge-watching a good show, or simply enjoying quiet time at home.
